🎭💜💛💚 Maysville French Club Celebrates Mardi Gras! 💚💛💜🎭 Maysville French Club had fun celebrating Mardi Gras after school on Tuesday. 🎭 Mask decorating 🎲 Mardi Gras bingo 📣 Lots of excitement shouting "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" (Let the good times roll!) As a special treat, students enjoyed authentic Cajun dishes like jambalaya and dirty rice, generously donated by Chef Steve, and wrapped up the celebration with King’s Cake—Vive les reines! 👑 Long live the queens! 🐾Career Pathway Highlight🐾 Throughout the last few weeks, Mr. Van Fleet's Livestock Management class has been learning about animal body systems. Today, they got to see what they've been learning up close as they dissected fetal pigs. Students located, identified, and removed key organs and labeled them. 🐾Maysville Girls Varsity Wrestling District-Audrey Crooks State Bound 🐾 Audrey Crooks punched her way to the OHSAA State Tournament after competing at the District Tournament and finishing 4th in the 125-pound weight class.🏆🐾 Kyrie Valentine competed at Districts, finishing 5th in the 105-pound weight class, earning a spot as a State Alternate.🤼‍♀️ Congratulations to both wrestlers on their incredible performances. 🐾Maysville Boys Varsity Wrestling District- Carter Abella State Bound 🐾 Seven Maysville Varsity Wrestling team athletes competed at the OHSAA Districts this weekend at Steubenville High School. The team was led by Carter Abella, who was the runner-up in the 126-pound weight class and has qualified for the OHSAA State Championship tournament this weekend in Columbus at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.🏆🐾 Maysville also placed three wrestlers in the top 6 at the District tournament: 🤼‍♂️Ziggy Sandobal – 5th place (State Alternate, 106-pound weight class) 🤼‍♂️Kade Renner – 5th place (State Alternate, 215-pound weight class) 🤼‍♂️ Kaleb "Dougie" Monlux – 6th place Way to go, Panthers!
