🐾Maysville Swim-Kenyon Small School Invitational 🐾
The Maysville Varsity Swim Team competed against 18 teams Saturday at the Mount Vernon Small School Invitational at Kenyon College in Gambier. The Women’s team finished 9th, and the Men’s team finished 6th.
The Women’s 400-yard Freestyle Relay Team of Bailey Paskell, Olivia Rusnak, Madison Hirtle, and Leila Hawk finished 4th, and the 200-yard Freestyle Relay Team of Bailey Paskell, Claire Heiney, Madison Hirtle, and Olivia Rusnak finished 14th. The Men’s Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Elijah Mayle, Owen Rusnak, and Landyn Kennedy finished 4th in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay and 6th in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay.
Top 20 individual finishes included:
🏊♂️Senior Landyn Kennedy finished 20th in the 100-Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Senior Elijah Mayle finished 5th in the 200-yard Freestyle and 7th in the 100-yard Freestyle.

🏊♂️Senior Owen Rusnak finished 3rd in the 200-yard Freestyle and 7th in the 100-yard Backstroke.

The Lady Panthers were led by Avery Daniels with 14 points, Rachel Gundelfinger with 13 points and Miley Fulkerson with 11 points. It was also Youth League Day. The Girls Youth League players were recognized at halftime. 🏀🐾

The boys’ team won 2nd place at the Rich Huntsman Tournament at Sunrise Lanes. Matt Johnson led the panthers with a 650 series, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament Team! Jacob Miller also led the panthers with a 605 series.
The girls’ team took 3rd place, and were led by Auska Johnson (442) and Alana Johnson (436).

The Maysville Varsity Swim Team hosted a meet on Friday, December 13th, at the Muskingum YMCA. The Women’s team finished 3rd, and the Men’s team finished 2nd.
The Women’s 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Grace Rush, Olivia Rusnak, Madison Hirtle, and Leila Hawk finished 1st. The Men’s Relay Team of Caleb Camp, Elijah Mayle, Owen Rusnak, and Landyn Kennedy finished 2nd in the 200 Medley and 1st in the 400 Freestyle.
