🐾🤼‍♂️ Panther Wrestling at Chieftain Duels🏆🐾 The Varsity Boys Wrestling team traveled to Bellefontaine to compete in the Chieftain Duels at Bellefontaine High School—winning all four dual matches and placing 1st in the tournament. Dual Scores: -Maysville 50 - Troy HS 30 - Maysville 55 - Bellefontaine HS 21 -Maysville 49 - Eaton HS 29 - Maysville 57 - Beavercreek 15 The Panthers were led by Ziggy Sandobal, Carter Abella, Alijuh Ridenour, Jayce Daniels, Kaleb Monlux, Logan Wilhite, and Kade Renner, who all went 4-0 for the tournament. The Maysville Varsity Swim Team competed at the MVL Championships on Wednesday, January 29, at Coshocton High School. The Men’s Team finished 3rd, and the Women’s Team finished 4th. 🐾Sophomore Leila Hawk was the MVL Champ in the 200-meter and 400-meter Freestyle, setting new MVL and school records in both events. 🐾The Men’s Relay Team of Landyn Kennedy, Elijah Mayle, Owen Rusnak, and Caleb Camp finished 4th in the 200-meter and 400-meter Freestyle Relay. 🐾The Women’s 400 Meter Relay Team of Bailey Paskell, Leila Hawk, Grace Rush, and Olivia Rusnak finished 3rd. Top 5 Individual Finishes Included: 🏊‍♂️Senior Elijah Mayle finished 4th in the 200 Individual Medley. 🏊‍♀️Senior Bailey Paskell finished 5th in the 100 Breaststroke. 🏊‍♂️Senior Owen Rusnak finished 2nd in the 50 Freestyle and 200 Freestyle. 🏊‍♂️Sophomore Caleb Camp finished 5th in the 100 Freestyle. 🏊‍♀️Sophomore Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle. 🏊‍♀️Sophomore Grace Rush finished 4th in the 100 Butterfly. 🐾Maysville Elementary 🐾 MES students are working hard on multiple manipulative skills with Arcade Games Unit in P.E.! They practiced striking both with a hand and an implement, underhand rolling, & underhand tossing with 5 different arcade game stations: Tic Tac Toe❌0️⃣ Air Hockey🌬️🏒 Bucket Ball🪣⚪️ Plank Pool💪🎱 Skee Ball🟢🟠🟡 They also practiced basic addition adding up their points at the different game stations!🧠➕ Such a FUN P.E. lesson learning, moving, and getting their heart rates up! The Girls Varsity Wrestling team competed at the New Lexington Invitational on January 26th, 2025. The girls placed 8th out of 55 teams. They were led by Kyrie Valentine's 2nd place finish in the 105-pound weight class. Also placing for the Lady Panthers were: Audrey Crooks – 3rd place in the 120-pound weight class and Josalyn Milatovich – 5th place in the 130-pound weight class. The Junior High Lady Panthers wrestled at the New Lexington Junior High Invitational on Sunday, January 26, 2025. They were led by Annika Winland's 4th place finish in the 142-pound weight class.
