In the month of December, the 5th graders joined Mrs. Hill and Mrs. McHugh in the STEAM Lab and focused on the “E” for Engineering in STEAM. Students used “Make-Do” tools and cardboard to think outside the box and
engineer creative gnome homes. Student teams worked through the design process to plan, create, construct, and present their completed designs. Each group met the challenge of including movable parts and unique features for their gnome clients.

Maysville Local School District would like to thank our students, staff, and community for an outstanding 2022 Helping Hands Drive. We helped 54 families, totaling 137 children. Each family received a $25 gift card to Riesbeck's, gifts from their wishlist, items donated from Toys-4-Tots, as well as a tote full of food. Food was collected from the canned food drives that were held in each of our buildings. We would also like to thank Rolling Plains Church for allowing us to use their building to host the drive.
Thank you again to all who helped to make this wonderful event possible for our community. Proud to be a Panther. #PantherPride
