The Maysville Panther Swim Team finished 5th overall at the Muskingum County Meet Wednesday. The Women's Relay Team of Alissa Jinkens, Brooklyn Ponish, Bailey Paskell, and Claire Heiney finished 4th in the 200 Medley Relay.
Top 10 finishes included:
Alissa Jinkens finished 3rd in the Women's 100-Yard Backstroke and 5th in the Women's 200-Yard Freestyle.
Brooklyn Ponish finished 6th in the Women's 200-Yard Freestyle.
Tillman Hawk was the County Meet Champ in the Men's 500-Yard Freestyle and finished 4th in the Men's 200-Yard Freestyle.
Elijah Mayle finished 5th in the Men's 50-Yard Freestyle and 5th in the Men's 100-Yard Freestyle.
Bailey Paskell finished 5th in the Women's 100-Yard Breaststroke.
Owen Rusnak finished 3rd in the Men's 200-Yard Freestyle and 6th in the Men's 100-Yard Backstroke.
The Panthers swim next at Ohio University on Friday.

Maysville Boys Youth League night was held last night at the Boys Basketball game against Claymont. The youth league boys teams wore their uniforms and were introduced at half time of the JV game. Congratulations all youth on a great season! Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride

Maysville Band participate in the District 9 Honor Band at Marietta High School this weeknd. Maysville was represented by middle school students. Andrew Lambert, AJ Moore, Greyson Hearing, Logan Paskell, Melody Blodgett, and Grace Rush. Maysville Elementary celebrated “National Word Nerd Day” this week by expanding our vocabulary through game play. Support staff joined teachers for small group rotations in each classroom. Students were excited to learn the games: Spelligator, Zingo, Fidget, Last Letter, Bananagrams, Blurt, and Speedy Words Twist.
