🎲Maysville Elementary Math Night🎲
Maysville Elementary would like to thank each and every one of you who attended our recent Family Math Night. The event was a definite success! We were thrilled to see over 70 families join us for an evening of fun and learning. It was wonderful to witness everyone enjoying dinner together and engaging in various math games and activities. Each family received directions for the games, along with a deck of cards and dice to continue the math fun at home. Our dedicated team of over 60 staff volunteers enjoyed working to ensure that the evening ran smoothly and that everyone had a memorable experience. Additionally, families were able to take home make-and-take games to further enhance their math skills outside of school hours. Thank you once again for your participation and support. It was great to see the families and students enjoying the math games and we look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.

Maysville Elementary 1st graders learned that properties of objects and materials can change, by investigating things that sink or float. Students tested several objects made from different materials and of different shapes. They then used this knowledge to design a clay boat that would float. The excitement of success was obvious on their faces!
