The Maysville Swim Team competed at the Tri Valley Meet December 20 against 8 other teams.
The team broke four school records. Senior Tillman Hawk broke his Men’s 500 Yard Freestyle school record. Senior Casen Hirtle broke his Men's 50 Yard Freestyle school record. Freshman Leila Hawk broke the school record in the Women’s 500 Yard Freestyle. And the Men’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Team of Tillman Hawk, Casen Hirtle, Elijah Mayle, and Owen Rusnak broke their school record and finished 3rd. The Women’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Team of Leila Hawk, Claire Heiney, Madison Hirtle, and Jerah Gahagan finished 4th .
Other Top 10 Finishes Included:
🏊♂️Tillman Hawk finished 1st in the 500 Yard Freestyle and 4th in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Casen Hirtle finished 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle and 3rd in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Jerah Gahagan finished 10th in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Elijah Mayle finished 6th in the 100 Yard Freestyle and 6th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
🏊♂️Bailey Paskell finished 5th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
🏊♂️Owen Rusnak finished 4th in the 100 Yard Freestyle and 5 th in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Caleb Camp finished 7th in the 100 Yard Backstroke.
🏊♂️Leila Hawk finished 1st in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 1st in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
🏊♂️Madison Hirtle finished 10th in the 100 Yard Backstroke.
🏊♂️Grace Rush finished 9th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.
The Panthers are back in action on Wednesday January 3 at Coshocton High School.
