Today is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Maysville Local School District would like to thank all of our amazing bus drivers for their hard work and dedication to our students. Take time to thank your bus driver the next time you see them. Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride
Reminder Maysville Elementary Families
The Maysville Elementary read a thon fundraiser ends on March 2nd. The money raised from this fundraiser is going towards various PBIS and literacy commitments to our school. 🐾
Maysville High School French Club celebrated Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" by having a Mardi Gras party and by preparing cajun cuisine, beignets, and kings cake.
This is a reminder that Parent Teacher Conferences will take place tomorrow, February 23rd, from 2:35-7:30. To schedule an appointment, please email your child's teachers or call the high school office.
Also, the I Spy van will be making a stop at the 6-12 building during conferences. The van helps educate parents/guardians about important teen related topics that may be affecting their child.
There will be an encore presentation of the College Credit Plus information meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd at 6:30 PM in the library (room 1010) at the high school.
Parent Teacher Conferences will also be from 2:35 to 7:35 PM tomorrow. If you need to schedule a meeting with a teacher, please call the office at (740) 454-7999.
The Maysville Local School District is enrolled in the State of Ohio's SaferOH Tip Line. The tip line accepts calls or texts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls or texts are answered by trained analysts with Ohio Homeland Security. This tip line allows students and adults to anonymously share information with school officials and law enforcement about threats to student or staff safety. Remember....If you see something, if you hear something, SAY SOMETHING!

There are multiple openings to be a Maysville Local School Bus Driver. These jobs include flexible/part time hours that allow one to work while your child is in school. Middle School parent/teacher conferences will be held in our makerspace 2:35-7:35pm on Thursday, February 23rd. Please stop by to meet with any of your child's teachers, you do not need to schedule an appointment.
There is also a mandatory meeting for families of students going on the 8th grade Washington DC trip on Thursday, February 23rd at 6:00pm.
Maysville winter guard placed 2nd in class Saturday, February 18 at Firestone high school in Akron. Congratulations winter guard. Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride
Maysville High School concert band performed at a pre contest concert this weekend. This event took place at Crooksville high school. Maysville, Marietta, Morgan, and Crooksville bands all performed in front of an audience as well as adjudicators in preparations for OMEA Large Group competition coming up on March 4th. All four bands performed very well and received great feedback for the upcoming contest. Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride
The Maysville High School Choir performed at Morgan High School on Thursday, Feb. 16th, for a mock OMEA district contest. They performed their three concert pieces, which were adjudicated by two judges from the surrounding area. They also sight sang for the first time, which was adjudicated by a judge from the surrounding area. Congratulations Maysville High School Choir on an amazing performance and showing off your wonderful sight singing skills! Proud to be a panther. #PantherPride
