Maysville High School students demonstrated exceptional skill and knowledge at the National History Day® National Contest held in College Park, Maryland, from June 9–13. Will Stoepfel, Scarlet Price, and Emma Rush made their school proud with their outstanding performances.
Scarlet Price and Emma Rush's group website submission achieved eighth place in a highly competitive category with over 110 submissions. In addition, their project was awarded the ‘Affiliate Award,’ recognizing it as the top senior division entry from the state of Ohio.
Will Stoepfel also distinguished himself by being one of only two senior-level entrants to receive the Irish/Irish-American prize. This honor was co-sponsored by The Ancient Order of Hibernians in America (AOH) and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in America (LAOH), highlighting his exceptional dedication and contribution to historical research.
These achievements highlight the dedication and talent of Maysville High School students, bringing great pride to our school and community.
