The vision of the Maysville Local School District as a Sponsor of a community school is to support an environment that encourages creative thinking and global citizenship. 

SPONSORING MISSION

The Maysville Local School District’s mission in sponsoring our community schools is to provide educational opportunities to the students in the community schools.  Maysville Local School District realizes that not all students learn in a traditional school. We are dedicated to best practices for effective school choice options for parents, as supported by the National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA) and have the following goals: 

• Education: To monitor and assess the goals of the Education Plan of the sponsorshipagreement, aligning them with the Assessment and Accountability Plan.

• Governance: To monitor and assist with governance compliance.

• Finance: To monitor and provide feedback for fiscal viability and sustainability, providingintervention if needed.

• Accountability: To monitor and evaluate legal compliance as well as areas of the contract.c
